4 CYLINDER Range - DF150ATL
Combining Lean Burn technology, semi-direct air intake, and a high-performance compression ratio of 10.2 to 1, this new outboard motor is powerful, clean, and efficient. Compared to its predecessor, the DF150A shows a 7% improvement in fuel consumption.
With increased torque (3.1% more), combined with the offset gear case with 2-stage reduction, this new engine delivers more power throughout the RPM range. Even on heavier or more heavily loaded boats, the DF150A takes performance to the next level.
The DF150A now shares the same block as the renowned DF200A. Large displacement and precision engineering provide better acceleration at low and mid-range RPM. This meets our customers’ demand for high performance combined with fuel efficiency.
This new outboard incorporates proven technologies from Suzuki’s ultimate 4-stroke models, ensuring year after year increased reliability. A knock sensor maintains engine smoothness to improve its lifespan. An oxygen sensor enhances engine efficiency, and the Suzuki water detection system protects the engine from poor combustion effects, stalling, and corrosion.
The new direct ignition reduces the number of parts and wiring, allowing better spark generation and improving combustion efficiency.
The main difference with its "big brother" DF140B is that it achieves its power over a lower and broader RPM range.
