Counter rotation: Do you enjoy offshore boating even if you don’t plan to own a big boat? Mercury offers, for the first time, a FourStroke 115 hp engine with left-hand rotation. Two of these mid-range monsters on your transom provide the handling and docking safety of more powerful twin-engine hulls but at a much more affordable price for your budget. Unlike competing twin 115 hp engines, Mercury FourStroke twin 115s are Command Thrust models that turn V6 category propellers, such as those from the Enertia series, to deliver better acceleration and improved boat control in rough waters.

Powerful and efficient: Thanks to their reduced weight and large displacement, the new Mercury FourStroke 80 - 115 deliver generous torque and instant power. Since they don’t need to work as hard as heavier engines or smaller displacement engines, these motors allow boats to plane faster, accelerate better, and fuel more efficiently at cruising speed.
Lightweight and energy efficient: Mercury’s globally renowned engineering team has concentrated incredible power into these lightweight, compact four-cylinder, single overhead cam engines. The 115 hp weighs 9 kilos less than its closest competing four-stroke, making it the lightest low-emission outboard in the world in its power category.

Bigger footprint: The larger Command Thrust lower unit creates a bigger footprint in the water, providing better boat control. The larger streamlined housing combined with a larger diameter propeller can bring a heavy boat onto plane more easily and keep it there at lower speeds, without impacting top speed.
Peace and quiet guaranteed: Equipped with the same lifetime maintenance-free valve train as our FourStroke 150 engines, the FourStroke 80-115 hp outboards are incredibly durable.
