The Suzuki DF5A outboard motor is a single-cylinder 4-stroke engine, with a displacement of no less than 138 cm³.

Its excellent mid-range torque, combined with its light weight, allows for acceleration of rare quality. Its CDI system offers high ignition precision, optimizing its performance. It also includes a safety feature that prevents the risk of over-revving.

The tiller design allows for the most comfortable operating position possible and better weight distribution. Notable additional main features of this lightweight engine include a gear selector (forward, neutral, reverse), a 180° steering rotation (for excellent maneuverability), and a large carrying handle.
