The Lean Burn Control technology optimizes the air-fuel mixture by anticipating fuel needs according to operating conditions, thereby reducing consumption. On this engine, it allows up to 16% savings.
Our new DF150AP engine is equipped with a revolutionary "hands-free" starting system: a coded keyless key transmits an access code to the engine start system. When the keyless key is within one meter of the main unit, simply power on the system, insert the kill switch cord, and start the engine by pressing a single button. Upon returning to port, just turn off the engine and power down the system.
The DF150AP is the first 150HP (110kW) outboard engine on the market to feature an electronic control system (Suzuki Precision Control) and Suzuki’s Selective Rotation system, which allows configuring the engine for normal or counter rotation, thanks to a specially designed mechanism located in the lower unit (the gearcase), and an innovative electronic gear shift system.
